Growing up in the 1990’s, where acts such as Wu-Tang Clan, Notorious B.I.G. rapped about a different type of fashion. Brand names such as Polo, North Face, Helly Hansen were common lyrics and imagery in the YO! MTV Raps Saturday mornings. The godfather or Polo Thirstin Howl would later grace the covers of The Source with huge spreads about how they got rich off of stealing Polo.
